Our History

Established in Geneva, NY in 1990 as Finger Lakes Nursing Services, Sibley Nursing first expanded to Rochester in 1993 and incorporated under our current name. We quickly grew our capabilities to meet the demand for temporary nursing services, offering a higher level of care and caring, opening offices in Auburn, Buffalo, Binghamton, Corning, Geneva, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown.

In 2003, we were acquired by the Lifetime Healthcare Companies. These companies began serving the healthcare needs of our service area over 70 years ago. Our association with these organizations provides great benefits in terms of resources for clients and opportunities for medical career seekers.

We now cover 31 New York State counties through 180+ staffing contracts, along with extensive home care contracts. Sibley is proud to work with the Erie County Department of Senior Services and the New York State Office for the Aging.  Sibley Nursing employs over 1,500 medical and medically-related professionals annually.
